I’ve been working on some coasters, and they are finally complete. All I need to do is take some pictures along with my latest beanies. I intend to have the photos posted sometime this weekend, at the latest Monday. I have two or three beanies and a set of eight coasters completed. A lot of my silence has been due to just working on projects. I follow a few blogs, and some of the individuals who write them have career priorities, such as nurses or health care. They do not have time to post every day even though I would like that. I have a menial job, and it’s hard to find time to work on projects between our scheduled work times. To be able to do both work and pleasurable hobbies, sometimes you have to sacrifice some sleep. I can’t imagine throwing parenthood in the mix. I am glad I am too old for that now. So consistently writing for a blog can be a challenge. I think sometimes it can be good for you in several ways. For one, it opens you up to new ideas when you talk about the ones you already had. Regular blogging lets you express things you might otherwise keep inside, like stress that will fester then spread. Blogging is reaching out to like minds, even when they lean toward weirdness. There was a successful author, maybe Stephen King who was giving some advice about writing.

“A radio talk-show host asked me how I wrote. My reply—’One word at a time’—seemingly left him without a reply. I think he was trying to decide whether or not I was joking. I wasn’t. In the end, it’s always that simple. Whether it’s a vignette of a single page or an epic trilogy like ‘The Lord Of The Rings,’ the work is always accomplished one word at a time.”

Happy blogging everyone. I hope to see some new posts from everyone soon.
